Wow. I just want to thank everybody for the warm welcomes. I did not expect this community to come alive so fast. Seriously, you guys made my day.

I'd also like to thank the guys over at Blazersedge, particularly Ben Golliver, for giving me a shout out on their incredibly popular and well run website. For all you Blazers fans who will be new to the Timbers next year, you can expect some introductory posts on everything Timbers coming soon to help get you up to speed on what we are all about.

Finally, I couldn't have done this without (swallowing pride) my compatriots at Sounder at Heart. Both Jeremiah and Dave were instrumental in bringing me on board and they are (swallowing pride once again) the primary reason why this blog exists right now. With them, and Benjamin Massey at 86 Forever, we'll truly create a great atmosphere and blog chemistry for everybody to enjoy.
