I hope Garber listens to Klinsy
I want MLS to keep its balanced schedule after Montreal and the 20th team enter. If it does not keep that balanced schedule it should be because of travel and not because playing 38 games is too much. I understand there is US Open Cup and CONCACAF CCL for some clubs but that is why we have larger rosters.
I am not one to say that if MLS wants to be considered one of the best leagues in the world we should be exactly like all the rest with promotion/relegation and not having playoffs etc (I like the playoffs actually and even don't mind having 10 teams make it as it makes the last month of the season very interesting for ideally 12-13 teams). But I do think a balanced schedule of 38 games against 19 opponents is important.
Here is what Klinsy said about MLS:
"The big challenge is for MLS overall, how can they stretch that season into a format that is kind of competitive with the rest of the world?" he said. "Right now it's not competitive. If you have a seven-, eight-month season, that's not competitive with the rest of the world."
Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.

MLS is only 4 or so weeks shorter than EPL, and 4 games shorter
MLS has same number of games as Bundesliga, but their Winter break makes the season one month longer.
Serie A has 38 games and a 9 month season.
MLS is about 8 months and 34 games. Outside the season varies for each team fro MLS Cup and CCL play.
Jag kom, jag såg, erövrade jag.
Have Garber get Klinsi to agree about hosting WCQ matches in Portland.
FIFA already doesn’t mind about turf, get the USSF to agree. Garber already is on the USSF board, but Klinsi would be great to convince.
Jag kom, jag såg, erövrade jag.
that would be pretty awesome
