A Question Answered Concerning Ryan Pore
The MLS released the list of players available in round 2 of the re-entry draft. If you look at the list the Montreal Impact actually do have a player listed, Ryan Pore. Apparently the loan was actually a trade.

Looking at all the information
I think the Timbers did initially loan Pore to them and then traded him and a international slot for not having anyone picked from the Timbers?

suppose this is as good a place as any for this question
I was looking at the list of Stage-2 guys, and was wondering if Devon McTavish would be a good pickup? Honestly I don’t know a ton about any of them, but I clearly remember playing against him, which I’m assuming means he’s pretty good. Also, he’s a vet with 6 years experience, which is never a bad thing.
any thoughts?

As I recall...
McTavish was a good squad player but has had serious injury issues throughout his career, mostly concussions. He missed all of last season and has only made 83 appearances for DC United in his 5 years there.
My thoughts: too injury prone, but not a bad player. I wouldn’t pick him.

Ryan Cochrane on the other hand
Would be a decent pick-up, although I don’t know if he is worth the amount of money he would get as a veteran to sit behind our other three CB’s.

He would be like a less injury prone, less expensive Goldie.
With a sweet mustache.

Plus he is a local boy.
Frankly, I want the team to pick him up at around what he made last year. 70k for a solid defender is not too shabby. He isn’t going to be a first choice defender by a long shot, but would be good depth.

Depth
Yes he would add Depth and that is what the Team needs for sure.
