Is the new turf going to be natural or artificial?
If artificial is it going to be high quality to replica real grass as much a possible?
I hope it’s natural, but realize the economics of that along with the drainage issue in PDX with all the rain.

Of the same quality as at Gillette Stadium. It will also be FIFA certified turf quality.

I've been told by a Timbers employee
that they will bring in real grass for special games like traveling euro squads and USMNT games.
If you build it, they will come.
