Cillian Sheridan, the goal scorer for both goals in this match, is currently on trial with the Portland Timbers.
Look closely at the first goal. It looks like a cross which is bumped in by his team mate, but a few second later in a different view you can see that he popped it in himself. Very impressive, even if it was an accident.

Deflection
All angles on this video are pretty rough in terms of picture quality, but I’d bet money his first shot doesn’t go in clean…looks like at takes a deflection off the sliding defender’s foot or leg.

But that would be one of the wiliest deflections ever. Sliding in from the side and it pops up from the line and into the goal? I think I’d sooner believe it was popped in by accident with Sheridan attempting to get the cross.
