That was an incredibly difficult shot any way you look at it. It didn’t have the distance of Nagbe’s goal, sure, but to pop it over a defender’s head like that, catch up to the ball and basically hit it on the run is pretty damned stunning. Nagbe had the “luxury” of not having a defender that close to him when he got the ball, so he could take two dribbles before firing his shot – Erika had to get the ball either over or around a defender before even trying a shot, and she took the over. They’re both really impressive efforts.
