Timbers Tid Bits: Winless Edition
Do you remember the last regular season match the Portland Timbers won at home? If you don't I certainly won't blame you... The last regular season home win for the Timbers came on May 21st, almost 2 and a half months ago against the Columbus Crew. What happened? Where did the energy go? I'm going to have a editorial on the Timbers continuing struggles later today, but suffice it to say, I firmly believe that going this long without winning at home isn't acceptable.
Anyway, enjoy the morning/weekend news.

I love bold, declarative statements
I firmly believe that going this long without winning at home isn’t acceptable.
Nothing against you, Geoff, but that sentence made me laugh – I’m picturing you standing in front of the Timbers bench, wagging your finger, and saying UNACCEPTABLE over and over again. hahaha. I can’t believe it’s been two months since a home win – and Saturday was a very, very winnable game.
That Beckham article about his “options” is pretty entertaining. He has no real option other than MLS at this point – he was never a very mobile player, and now he’s even less mobile than he has ever been. His one trick is an amazing trick, but it’s not nearly enough to survive at the top of the world soccer pyramid given his drawbacks at this point. MLS is pretty ideal for him.
I happen to do that n a regular basis!
Bad Timbers… bad!

Not sure it's worth a fanshot
Since you’d probably put it into the next links anyway, but I thought this was noteworthy.
Wonder what it is.
