Byrne is making that claim on an announcement by the end of the year...
not the MLS. However, I would be surprised if there was an expansion anywhere else.

You really don't want
to be at 19 long term though. That’s a pain for scheduling. They want #20 somewhere.
Not so bad
Wouldn’t be so bad if MLS would balance the schedule at 19 teams. 36 games would be a longer season but not out of the realm of possibility. A heavier load for sure but as always, we’ll have to see.

As in move it more towards the start of March or end of February
