Timbers Tid Bits: Philadelphia Edition
Tomorrow the guys will take on the Philadelphia Union at PPL Park. We all know how poorly they play on the road, but tomorrow's game is a hugely important match up. Looking ahead to the remainder of the schedule (and we'll have more in depth analysis on this later next week) there are only three home games left and, after tomorrow's match, four very challenging away games at the New York Red Bulls, Vancouver Whitecaps (home opener!), D.C. United, and Real Salt Lake of which the latter two games take place within a few days.
So tomorrow's match in Philadelphia is a huge away game for the Timbers, especially concerning the recent for of the Union.
Enjoy the morning news!

From Strong Notes
Editor’s Note: Portland Timbers play-by-play announcer John Strong will miss this Saturday’s match against the Philadelphia Union due to suffering from extreme flu-like symptoms. ESPN and Houston Dynamo’s play-by-play announcer Glenn Davis will fill in during Strong’s absence alongside Timbers soccer analyst Robbie Earle. Watch them call the game on ROOT Sports.
Jag kom, jag såg, erövrade jag.
There's also "Severe Dehydration."
Sometimes you can just get really dehydrated in places like Las Vegas or Miami…
I do hope Strong gets better soon.
