US Open Cup Changes Announced
Great changes but they still have the blind bid system once the cup reaches the quarterfinals. Still don't like that system but apparently it is the only way to make the tournament financially viable.

With it gone
Portland did make its mark in having the highest attended MLS play-in match in its short history. At only 11,000
Jag kom, jag såg, erövrade jag.
Also
I like that MLS seems to have accommodated this in the schedule. The first round that MLS teams will be in starts Tuesday May 29th. There are almost no MLS games the two weekend after that., meaning that MLS teams can mostly concentrate on this without worrying about it hurting league games.
We host Vancouver on Saturday May 26th.
Then we’ll have a Cup game against a lower division team on Tuesday the 29th.
We then don’t have another league game till June 17th.
So we could play 3 Cup games in a row before we get to another league game.
LOVE THAT.
Who wants to bet our 4th game of the year against Shittle is on June 5th?
Sounds pretty good to me
All I know, is that I really, REALLY, REALLY want to see a Timbers vs Timbers U-23 USOC game.
I JUST WANT MY BASKETBALL BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What would be even better....
Would be a back to back doubleheader on one evening at the House of Pane with the Timbers U23s playing the Sounders starting at 5pm (and beating them of course) followed by the first team playing some other lower division club and beating them.
EPIC
What a great day that would be
