U.S. could host the 2016 Copa America
For those unfamiliar, this is the big "New World" competition with 10 CONMEBOL (South American) and 6 CONCACAF teams competing for one big trophy.
It's pretty much the next best thing for a national team to get (World Cup being the first, obviously) and it would be a great opportunity to see the USA compete against the likes of Brazil and Argentina.
Also, these sorts of events are great for scouting and, as we know, Portland isn't shy about recruiting South Americans. Still a ways off, but I just want to throw that out there.

PDX should obviously get Columbia's national team playing if they make it
We have half of them playing as Timbers anyhow!
would it be fair to give them a home game? lol

Home game for Colombia at JWF!
That’s it! Give Colombia a “home” game so they can knock off Brazil — that way the US team won’t have to face them!
Seriously, only one of the Timbers’ four Colombians — Diego Chará — has been called up to the national team, and I don’t think he’s a regular. Yet.
