He still is not wanted at Tigres. Still under contract through so likely would involve a fee and maybe too high. I never liked Bornstein as a LB for the USMNT but I must admit he would be a possible upgrade over Smith if he has developed some better on the ball and crossing skills in his time in Mexico. Big if.
