Awesome!
Kind of reminds me of the iconic “Air Jordan” symbol that Nike uses only with soccer, obviously.
Love the flag in the background!
I think if I could have any soccer poster framed and hung up in my house I would want this one. So simple, yet very iconic of both the city and sport that I love.

It's Marcelin
from the LA Galaxy game, as posted on the Timbers facebook page.

Not a fan of it
Looks like junior high stuff.

Simplicity is key...
Also try and be a little more constructive with criticism. BDiskin creates lots of fantastic Timbers posters.
Thanks!

I actually agree with Gedge
Not one of my favorites but then again I am not a fan of some mediums/styles of art that a lot of people are.
Just to simple for my tastes and I prefer his army posters over this style.
BDiskin keep it coming! I love your work

It is indeed Marcelin...
…and it’s fine if some folks don’t like it. It IS an experiment and I certainly can’t please everybody.
Marcelin's silhouette could make a great nba/mlb-style logo
if you or the league was going to that kind of thing. At this point I’d prefer it to our uber-dated ’90s era MSpaint one.
I like the concept
But I’m not a huge fan of the final product. I find that white diamondish thing in the middle of the flag to be very distracting. I think it might be niftier if the silhouette was in a green box, instead of centered?
"I'm not blind, I'm deaf, I'm halfway to a ref!" (Well technically I'm 1/3rd of the way since I can properly call offsides, but that doesn't sound as catchy..)
The white diamond thing is at the heart of the Portland city flag and at the heart of the player
I like it.
Yep.
Indeed. Thinking of a touched-up series like this. As I said…this particular one is an experiment…subsequent versions will have much more polish.
Fair enough
I look forward to seeing them. Like everyone else on here, I really enjoy your stuff!
