You got to MLS, you took MLS by storm with the Timbers Army and the raucous home atmosphere. But here we are a year later, and things are still great, but what have you done to evolve? Don't rest on your laurels, Merrit & Co. - the Sounders now have a women's team that drew 4000 to Starfire last night. If the Sounders Women can draw 4000 to a match, the Timbers can easily do better than that, right? Of course we can!

I want the Timbers to be the preeminent franchise in MLS. This is a great way to help ensure that will happen - I would love to see a Timbers Women team become a thing, and for the TA to throw its weight behind them as much as they do the men. What say you, Timbers? Do you want to be the best thing in MLS circa 2011, or do you want to keep leading the way in 2012 and beyond? I know which one I want to see. And a women's team would be a great first step in that direction.
