A Tactical Change in Short Term to Help our Fullback Situation

I know Spencer wants to see his fullbacks continually get forward and get into the attack. I cannot say I do not disagree in theory but we do not have the personnel for that style of play right now.I would suggest two changes for the SKC game. Some or all of these have been mentioned in other postings I think.

1. Tactics: Why do we not just let Chabala and Purdy sit back more and focus more on defending. This might let the wide MFers have more space to attack and will not kill us when they do not get back and defend. This also takes a bit of pressure off the CDMs (both Jewsbury and Chara played CDM IMO against the Galaxy) to cover so much ground and allows us to have a CAM who stays forward more which leads me to.....

2. Personnel: Take out Jewsbury, put Chara as CDM and Nagbe as CAM and Perlaza up top with Boyd.

This would make a starting XI of:

Perkins

Purdy Mosco Brunner Chabala

Chara

Songo'o Alexander

Nagbe

Boyd Perlaza

Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.
