2012 MLS Salary figures

http://www.mlsplayers.org/files/May%2015,%202012%20Salary%20Information%20-%20By%20Club.pdf

Highlights for the Timbers:

-We have $396k+ invested at LB. Ouch.

-Gleeson and Dike got some nice raises from last year

-Nagbe has the potential to be a salary cap issue if he graduates this next year (likely at the rate he's playing games IMO), and he's closer to his guaranteed salary figure. He's the second highest paid player on the team. Lots of potential, but that really hurts our salary cap if he's only producing as he has this year/last year.

-Can't believe Renken came back to the US for 33k

-Richards did well as a HG signing. Jumped ahead of his u-23 brethren.

Note: I haven't done a full off-season style breakdown of where we are in terms of salary cap. I can if people are interested, but from a quick glance, looks like we should have a decent amount of space if we do move some people mid-season. Not too many 150-250k contracts that hit our cap space, like some other teams have.

Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.
