There were some truly stunning results last night. The Chicago Fire being beaten by an amateur PDL side. Real Salt Lake, who famously paid for the home game advantage, lost to the Minnesota Stars FC of the NASL. The LA Galaxy fell to the Carolina Railhawks of the NASL. The New England Revolution spectacularly went up 3-nil in extra time, only to lose their lead within 12 minutes, finally going down via PKs against the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Pro. And more! Really, if these results say anything it's that the Timbers should not take tonight's match lightly. Just because something seems like it should be an easy win, doesn't mean it will be.
