WTF are the Timbers doing loaning Dike to the LA Blues of the USL? Also why does Spencer keep having the boys feed Boyd in the air? He is 6'1" and going against center backs who are at least 6'3"+. The formation is all screwed up and he is not using his players as they are used to. He is addicted to speed and in the MLS the quality of the players has gotten extremely better and the Timbers speed is not better than other teams! He also has lost the teams confidence with his abrasive style. These are professionals, not school kids or a USL team! You can't scream and yell all the freaking time. Players will tune you out. Look at the great Managers (Sir Alex Ferguson, Sigi Schmidt, Bruce Arena, Jurgen Klinsmann, and Pep Guardiola) and see what they do on the sideline. Yes they might have better players but they let the players play. Training is time for getting your point across and getting them to buy into your philosophy, not during the game. The players look confused and scared to make a mistake. Not trusting in their own ability and just playing the game. It's frustrating to watch as a season ticket holder and one who actually converted from the dark side when I moved from the "other NW team" to see the lack of direction the team is headed.

I would have the formation as a 4-5-1. Nagbe (ST), Boyd (AM), Alexander (RM) Songo'o/Alhassan (LM), Chara (CM), Palmer/Jewsbury (DM), Jewsbury/Futty (RB), Brunner/Futty (CB), Mosquera (and his weird looking head) (CB), Chabala (LB), and Perkins (GK). On the reserves: Perlaza,(F/M), Fucito (F), Zizzo (M), Smith (D) Brunner (D) or Jewsbury (M/D) (whoever isn't in the starting XI), Wallace (D) and Bendik (GK). Dammit Timbers (Spencer and Wilkinson) get it together or we'll be at the bottom of the table! You have no excuses now that most of the team is healthy. So no excuses!
