MLS Soccer presented this article yesterday comparing Mwanga and Perlazza. Their upshot was the trade looks even. Reading the fine print however I see some advantages for the Timbers. This quote in particular:
"But for all his perceived playmaking abilities, Mwanga has only gotten off two successful crosses, demonstrating his penchant for quick combinations and through balls."
The post also calls Perlazza a poacher based on his goals being taken from the 18 yard box. In addition they describe Mwanga as more of a creator based on his dribbling and assists.
Seems to me this makes for a better pairing for Boyd. What is your opinion?
Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.
