So since we are in the world-wide transfer season and it's obvious that the Timbers need to start making moves for the future, what should the Timbers do? Importantly, who should the team keep, trade, or throw away?
I know there are some obvious things - like release Palmer - that can be done. However, there are some scenarios that has been popping into my head of late.
1: If we get any decent offer for Perkins, do you take it? Are Gleeson and Bernik read for the first team?
2: If we get any decent offer for Boyd, do you take it? Could Mwanga, Nagbe, Dike, or Richards provide goals to make up?
3: What veterans do you try to move? Can we get anything for Jewsbury, Palmer, Chabala, Futty, Fucito, or Purdy?
4: Is it worth it to still keep Rodney Wallace and his salary?
Just some thoughts I've been having. Interested in seeing what everyone else thinks.
