So I woke up this morning with a crazy idea in my head. I'm often frustrated watching matches on TV or video because you can't see what's happening off the ball, and a lot of times you can't really see a play develop. What do people think of this idea: a split screen with a normal view on most of the screen, but with a straight overhead aerial shot of the entire pitch on the side? Anyone know if anything like this has been tried? It might be difficult to "toggle" between views, but you could always just watch the overhead on replays. Thoughts?
Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.
