El Trencito got his 20+ minutes in the reserves match and looked pretty good though he didn't score. He played with a confidence - cockiness, really- that I've never seen from any Timber. At one point early on after the subs, Vickers (who has been training with the team a lot according to the reports on this site) was dribbling the ball and Trencito literally took the ball from him, dribbled down and maneuvered for his own shot.
I thought he looked good with great ball skills and fearless approaching the Sounders back line (which looked pretty third string with jersey numbers more reminiscent of American football).
I'm looking forward to him getting some real time.
Anyone else see the game? Early impressions?
Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.
