Once again not a lot of information available for the Timbers Academy’s matches against the Los Angeles Galaxy, but here’s a little info from LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano.

(I was an English major so I didn’t take astronomy so based on a quick Google search – let’s call the Galaxy Academy squads the ‘Red Dwarfs’.)

The U-17/18 squad fell for the second day in a row dropping its match 2-0. The U-15/16s picked up a second straight draw when Salem’s Reid Baez tallied for the Timbers.

Next up for the Timbers Academy squads will be the first official Cascadia Match for the U-17/18s and U-15/16s when Portland travels north for a September 22nd showdown against Seattle. The matches are scheduled to be played at the Starfire Sports Complex on Field 11, with the older group starting at 1 p.m. and the younger batch set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
