Sure. We've talked through the implications of the Timbers come-from-behind tie at Colorado last week. In one game, the Timbers doubled their goal production in Colorado compared to the previous two years combined. In terms of results, we got (infinitely? A lot? Ok, one) more point than we've ever gotten. We know the boys need to score first in a game soon and actually notch three points to really feel the promise (there's that terrible word again) of the rest of the season.
But that means we've neglected perhaps the most important question. The one that has plagued us at least since Cal FC.
Are the retro kits cursed? And more importantly, did fighting back for a point on the road AND the first PK in over a year banish that curse? Will we need to cringe when we see those kits next time?
Me, I dont believe in that kind of thing (says the man who feels guilty for any game I forget to wear the mini log slice wooden medallion my daughters helped make along with the tiny axe head the blacksmith at Ft Vancouver made for my older daughter to every game).
