Midpoint Schedule Rollup

Using a simplistic approach of placing a ranking of 1-10 based on current rankings according to the MLS website, the Timbers point rollup and average strength(rank) of opponent is as follows (i.e. smaller #'s on strength mean better teams).

First Half
Home Games 8 Pts 17 Aver SOS 5.375
Away Games 9 Pts 13 Aver SOS 6.125
Second Half
Home Games 9 Pts Aver SOS 4.5
Away Games 8 Pts Aver SOS 5.875

Sorry the formatting is a little weird... anyway I think the point is that the Timbers have done well at home against reasonably good competition, and gained 13 pts on the road against fairly weak overall competition.

In second half, our home games get much tougher (RSL in town twice) and our road games stay fairly weak (Chivas twice).

Alright guys, I don't believe I have to say this but, just in case, please do not submit anything racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise not appropriate for even the younger Timbers fans.
