Do not get me wrong I am very happy with the 1-0 win (and the other western conference results thus far this weekend) over Colorado on Friday. However the lineup Porter put out there and the way we played surprised me. From the training reports this week it seemed to me that Powell was healthy. However he was not even in the 18. If he was healthy and not in the 18 then Porter sure has lost confidence either in him or somehow maybe the whole being mad that AJB came out last week playing "casual" made him desire some more experience on the backline even if it means hoofing it up the field.
So how do you want the Timbers to play down the stretch? Do you want to see more Porterball with the nice passing stats etc (and to me this means starting Powell and continuing to start Urruti) or do you want to see a more experienced backline and we play tight and give up the ball more and try to get clean sheets?
