Maybe I missed it in the past. But before the Fire match, they played a highlight video with "pump-up" music on the south-end big screen.
I don't recall ever hearing piped in music to get the crowd into the match. Frankly, it was terrible. It competed with the Army's chants and created a circus-like atmosphere that I'd rather stayed to our neighbors stadiums to the North (or in the Rose Garden Moda Center).
I expected to see a lot of negative reactions here or on Twitter.
If I get a vote (which I don’t), I say ban all piped in music in our home pitch and let us make the necessary noise and rhythms of the game.
