Portland Timbers at Houston Dynamo Match Highlights: Hardly Scintillating

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Check out the highlights from the Timbers' 1-1 draw with the Dynamo.

The Portland Timbers' 1-1 draw in Houston yesterday did not leave the most impressive batch of highlights, but here they are anyway. Through the first five minutes of the video (embedded below), the Timbers have their chances while holding possession and the Houston Dynamo have theirs on the counter.

The second half highlights start at 5'20" and they are just not worth sticking around for. Featuring plenty of chances for the Dynamo and lines from the local Houston broadcasters including "it's like the return of the messiah with Brad Davis back in the line-up," there is not a Timbers' attack to be seen.

In the end, the closest the Timbers come to an attacking highlight in the second half is when the final whistle blows with the ball in the Dynamo's end.

Was there any moment in the highlights to draw inspiration from? Were there any moments missing that should have made it? Let us know in the comments below.
