Portland Timbers vs. FC Dallas Prediction Thread, Part II

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Timbers host FC Dallas today; who will come out on top?

The Portland Timbers may have won three road games in a row with the third coming on Saturday against Real Salt Lake, but today's match against FC Dallas is a home game. The Timbers have surprisingly struggled at home this season, putting up a record of 1-1-7 so far, but a match against this Dallas side, who have struggled everywhere, could be just what the Timbers need.

Can the Timbers start pulling out wins at home? What will the starting lineup look like just four days after the Timbers' match on Saturday? Can Darlington Nagbe get his first goal of the season?

Let's get busy making some predictions.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • The final score.
  • The goalscorers.
  • The timing of the goals.

The more specific the prediction, the better.

The rules: Get your predictions in before kick-off. Correctly predicting the score is worth two points, correctly predicting a goal scorer is worth one point, and coming close to the timing of a goal is worth one point. That's about it. I reserve the right to award bonus points for excessively awesome/accurate predictions.
