Eastside Bleachers are Looking Good

It always amazes me how fast construction projects start out. It was less than two months ago that PGE was still largely a baseball field. Fast forward 59 days and the crews have been able to establish a foundation and mount a formidable portion of the brand new east side bleachers that will hold the luxurious KeyBank seats.

Of course, for those who think that given the progress we've seen in the first two months means that we should have our sparkly new stadium in time for the new year, think again. The common motto amongst contractors is that the first 80% of the work takes 20% of the time and the final 20% of the work takes 80% of the time. Basically meaning that all the small details coming in at the end will probably seriously hold up the stadium come December-January.
