When our first four players were signed in the last few weeks, three of them were expected, one was a surprise. I don't know of a single Timbers fan who really knew who Eddie Johnson was when he was announced. Well, they knew who the Eddie Johnson was, but not our Eddie Johnson.
Although the player remains an enigma to many of us, the Timbers website posted this quaint video of the player answering a number of inane questions. While it doesn't really help me understand him very much, I suppose any information is better than none. Besides, we won't really know who he is until we've seen him in his first competitive game next year.
