My New Years Timbers Resolutions

Welcome to a new year. It's actually very similar to the last year, only a slight change required when writing checks. Don't forget to date it correctly.

Anyway, as we head into our first ever MLS season, I thought it might be fun to lay out some New Years resolutions that I have for the Timbers. Keep in mind that these are just my personal Timbers resolutions and, whyile they may seem ambitious, I'm squarely of the mind that if you aim high enough you'll reap better rewards, or as the famous quote goes: "the greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it."

On to my resolutions!

1. The Timbers will sell out all of their 2011 games.

2. At both home games we will beat the Seattle Sounders and the Vancouver Whitecaps.

3. In 2011 the Timbers will make the play-offs.

4. The Timbers will have more points at the end of the season than both Seattle and the Whitecaps.

So how's that? Too ambitious, or not ambitious enough?
