We already knew this from last week's Talk Timbers where John Strong reported this unofficially, but the Portland Timbers FO made it official this morning. As of right now there are fewer than 500 tickets available for each home game this season with both the Chicago Fire home opener and Seattle Sounders game being sold out entirely. Other games such as the FC Dallas, New York Red Bulls, Los Angeles Galaxy and Vancouver Whitecaps games have only obstructed view seating left available.

It probably doesn't need to be said, but this is fantastic news for our off-the-field success this year. While our team might be struggling a little bit during games, we can at least rest assured that we'll be a marquee club for the league this season.

Those of you who haven't yet purchased your desired tickets may want to consider taking a walk over to Jeld Wen Field to grab some of the remaining tickets. My hope is that every game will be sold out before the end of April.
