Timbers Tid Bits: Facepalm(er) Edition

Hans Backe is out next year, NY2 is in in 2016, and Lovel Palmer gets a little out of control on Twitter.

We're all pretty well accustomed to Merritt Paulson's Twitter dust-ups with Sounders fans, Timbers fans, and Eric Wynalda. Today's link round-up starts with some more surprising news about Lovel Palmer's own little Twitter battle with Timbers fans. As perhaps the most disliked Timber, Palmer probably has a right to feel like fans are a little hard on him, but I'm not sure he has found the best way to handle that.

Palmer goes at it with Timbers fans on Twitter, including encouraging people who don't like him to jump off a bridge. If you actually check out his Twitter page, you can see that another former Timber chimed in to voice his support.
