I don't know if you guys have been following the MLS play offs through the weekend or not, but it's been quite exciting! Oh wait... did I say exciting? I meant tedious. Of the two play off games that have happened so far over the weekend (Seattle Sounders vs. Real Salt Lake, DC United vs. New York Red Bulls) a grand total of two goals have been scored, of which two of those were own goals. Yeesh...
Which is why I'm hoping today's games are a bit more flavorful. With the California Clasico and a match up between Sporting Kansas City and the Houston Dynamo, we're bound to see at least a few goals, right? Right?!
Here's the info for today's games:
General Information
Eastern Conference: Houston Dynamo vs. Sporting Kansas City
Western Conference: LA Galaxy vs. San Jose Earthquakes
Final Thoughts
Not much to say about the upcoming games. The California Clasico is likely to be the more entertaining of the two matches given the rivalry between the two teams and San Jose's knack for scoring goals. However, if you're like me, then you care more about the Eastern Conference because every team in the west other than the Timbers can go to hell... or something like that. You can be more polite about it if you want.
Who are you rooting for today?
