Timbers Reserves Take On Sounders Tonight at 7

The Portland Timbers reserves head north tonight to take on the Seattle Sounders at 7 p.m. at the Starfire Soccer Complex in Tukwila, WA. The Timbers reserves will be looking for their first win of the season after losing their first game against the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0. The Sounders reserves are also winless, having drawn 1-1 against the Vancouver Whitecaps reserves last month.

The Timbers will have several new players with them for tonight's match-up as goalkeeper Brian Rowe and left back Brett Evans join the team. Rowe, a Major League Soccer pool keeper, has been brought in by the Timbers to fill in for back-up keepers Joe Bendik and Jake Gleeson, both of whom are out with knee injuries. Evans is on trial with the Timbers as the 30 year old South African player tries to catch on with a team in the states.
