Quick Recap: Portland started a mix of the first XI and the game day 18 players but it wasn't enough to keep Valencia from getting the first goal. At the half the subs all came in and the young guns got their chance to show what they can do but they could not find the back of the net despite having some good opportunities.
Observations:
- I loved seeing the 4-3-3 but it still looks like a work in progress, especially with who we had out there.
- Nagbe again looked invisible out there
- KAH looked good but still had showed some rust, can't wait to see our starting wings be KAH and Zizzo
- I love me some Dike. He just does not give up on plays and really looks like his touch is getting better.
- Horst looked good and made some great tackles out there
- Freddie Braun is not a RB and his play in the middle of the pitch showed what his natural position is.
- I like the young guns and it makes me think Portland's future looks bright.
- What did you guys see (besides every 10 secs the video would jump)
