I should have got this up yesterday for the Russian vs Poland match since it seems all the excitement, or rather horribleness, was contained within those two fan groups. Still disappointed that such a thing is still prevalent today. But never mind that because we've got two very important matches today!

First up we have Portugal vs. Denmark kicking off in just a few minutes from now.

We saw Denmark pull the upset over World Cup second placer the Netherlands last weekend so it'll certainly be exciting to see how they fair against Portugal and whether they can make it into the quarterfinals. Could we be seeing the dark horse of the tournament? I certainly hope so!

Later today it Germany vs. the Netherlands at 11:30am PDT.

With the Netherlands falling to Denmark last weekend they'll be surely looking to pull 3 points back from Germany today. As the two more popular Portland national teams it'll be interesting to see how each fairs today.

Tomorrow will see:
  • Italy vs. Croatia
  • Spain vs. Ireland
