The day after their first MLS win over the Seattle Sounders, the Timbers practiced today at their Beaverton training facility. The team focused on regeneration today, splitting into two groups with the players who started yesterday working inside to start practice and the subs and reserves taking to the field.
Rodney Wallace was back with the team for the first time since injuring his ankle over the break. Wallace took part in the warm ups this morning before heading inside to continue his recovery work.
Eric Brunner continued to miss practice with concussion-like symptoms and will not be back until he has been cleared to return by the league.
Kalif Alhassan missed practice today after suffering a hamstring strain in yesterday's game. Specifics of how long Alhassan would be out were not available, but John Spencer did say that he would be meeting with the team's trainers later in the day.
