I missed this, and I didn't see it in any of the posts either. Michael Nanchoff, former Akron and Whitecaps player appears to be trialing with the Timbers as well. If I'm reading this right, looks like he spent most of the 2011 season out on injury and then was let go from the Whitecaps. Could work well to have more people who know Porter's style.
