Merritt Paulson sure does love his Twitter account. While it might get him into a small bit of trouble at times, it's an endless source of hints and teases for the rest of us. His latest hint? Jeld-Wen Field will be the host of the All_Star game in 2014. Here was his exact tweet:
Also ...so this year's MLS All Star game will be in KC.I wonder where the 2014 MLS all-star game will be....wish I knew ;)

While he obviously doesn't come out and say it, there's little room to guess that he's mentioning anything other than Jeld-Wen Field being the 2014 location for the All-Star Game. That said, it could just be that JWF is merely one of a small group of other stadiums still in the running.
No matter how you look at this, however, one thing is certain:
With CONCACAF giving Jeld-Wen Field a game. US Soccer rumored to give JWF a World Cup Qualifier. And now MLS hinted to give JWF the 2014 MLS All Star game. It would appear the hesitancy over field turf in the United States is waning a bit. Good news for Portland footy fans.
What do you think of Jeld-Wen Field potentially hosting the 2014 All-Star Game?
