According to Caleb Porter's post practice comments, the Timbers will field an entirely new starting eleven tomorrow, with the starters from Sunday not dressing for the game. The line-up will be a mixture of trialists and signed players with Dallas likely fielding a similar group of starters as saw the field against AIK on Sunday.
My projected line-up:
Jake Gleeson; Ryan Kawulok, Futty Danso, Calum Angus, Rodney Wallace; Sal Zizzo, Ben Zemanski, Danny Mwanga, Michael Nanchoff; Jose Adolfo Valencia, Federic Piquionne
Trialists and Guest Players
New striker Federic Piquoinne, 34, was in attendance at practice today. The French international last played for West Ham, who would allow him to leave on a free transfer according to Merritt Paulson at practice today.
Jamaican forward/midfielder Andre Clennon is no longer on trial with the Timbers after spending the last week with the team.
Still practicing with the Timbers are Chris Hegngi, David Meves, Michael Nanchoff, and Calum Angus.
Injuries and Absences
The Timbers injury situation did not see much change today, with all the same players out as we saw yesterday.
Futty Danso is back at full health and will start tomorrow's match according to Caleb Porter. Jake Gleeson is another strong possibility to start after his return from injury.
David Horst is close to making a return to training, according to Porter.
Jack Jewsbury and Chris Taylor are both still several weeks out, while Hanyer Mosquera and Milo's Kocic, both of whom picked up injuries on Sunday, are out for the remainder of the week.
