The USMNT have a big game ahead of them today as they take on Honduras, a rapidly rising star for the CONCACAF region. While losing today certainly won't exclude the Nats from getting into the World Cup, a loss would certainly be disheartening. Getting off on a solid start will make this year's World Cup journey far easier, just don't expect the Honduras to make it easy.

Final Thoughts
I know this game is at an awkward time which means many of you won't be able to watch it live. I won't be able to either. As such we'll be refraining from spoiling the game as "Breaking News" and won't be doing any sort of recap until tomorrow.
More on topic:
Today's game will be huge for the USMNT. With Timmy Chandler declaring for the USA, the squad has only gotten stronger at that right back position, a spot which would have been left vacant by the aging Steve Cherundolo in the near future. If the team can gel appropriately and secure three points, they'll be well on their way to a great Hexagonal run.
