The Portland Timbers take on the San Jose Earthquakes in reserve league play today at Jeld-Wen Field. The Timbers reserves are 2-1-0 after last week's win over USL Pro side VSI Tampa Bay, while the San Jose reserves have lost their only game so far.

The action will get underway at 7:00 at Jeld-Wen Field today. Can't make it to down to Jeld-Wen? The Timbers have helpfully provided a live stream that you can watch here and that we have embedded below.

Starting Lineups

We will post the lineups here as they are announced.

Final Thoughts

I would just like to see the Timbers get out of here with their ankles intact as one of the team's three healthy center backs, Dylan Tucker-Gangnes, will be on the line today. This could be a very wide open game with the Timbers reserves' penchant for a more direct style leading to some exciting end to end play. Plus, with the number of injuries suffered by the team it seems likely that we will see an academy player get some minutes when subs are called for, which is always exciting.
