Timbers Tid Bits: Canadian Championship Edition

Major League Soccer's three Canadian teams plus one NASL team will begin the Canadian Championship tonight with the first leg of the semi-finals (also known as the first round). A much smaller, shorter version of the US Open Cup, the Canadian Championship is also the path to the CCL for one Canadian team.

In other news today, two different players from the Thorns-Reign game earn player of the week nods from two different sources and the MLS-USL Pro partnership is showing promise.
