Portland Timbers vs. New England Revolution Prediction Thread

The Portland Timbers take on the New England Revolution tonight. So get in your match predictions now!

USA TODAY Sports

Tonight we'll see the Portland Timbers take on the New England Revolution in their annual game. It should be a great game for the Timbers considering New England's defensive backline in pretty much in tatters right now after a couple injuries and a suspension. So adjust your predictions thusly!

But first, let's find the winners from last week:

  1. AkronSnape: 3-2 Portland Timbers win. Zuzi in the 41st. Nagbe in the 65th. Ryan Johnson in the 75th. Sapong in the 89th. Piquionne/Wallace in the 93rd.
  2. Notthebikeman: Timbers win. Rodney Wallace scores in the 52nd minute.

Big congratulations to both! AkronSnape, in particular, was almost uncannily correct with regards to the Timbers scorers.

Most others had the Portland Timbers as either drawing or losing to Sporting Kansas City. A fair prediction had you asked me prior to last weeks game.

Turning back to tonight's game, here's what we want:

  • Game score.
  • Who scored those goals?
  • Which half?

Easy-peasy, no?

What are your final score line predictions for tonight's match?
