The Portland Timbers take on the New England Revolution in an annual battle for three points. Last year, the Timbers went to New England and managed to earn a draw. I can only imagine that New England is hoping to do the same. The only thing is that New England's defense is in utter tatters for tonight's match. We'll see how that works out for them against a Portland Timbers home side who's also keen to score multiple goals per match.
Here are the details:

Final Thoughts
I think most people expect a win tonight, but I hesitate to join them. Historically the Timbers haven't played well against teams that are considered worse than they are. While this might be a different team this year with an entirely different mentality, I'm still remaining only partially optimistic. They're certainly a strong team, but it doesn't mean they're infallible. New England could come in tonight with a chip on their shoulder wanting to knock off one of April's best teams in the league.
