A win tonight would be huge for the Timbers as they continue their quest for the U.S. Open Cup trophy, but it will also be very challenging. As revealed last week, should the Timbers win tonight they'll then go on to face either FC Dallas or the Houston Dynamo in Texas. It doesn't matter which one wins their respective USOC game, the Timbers have to play away from home. But that is, perhaps, thinking a bit too far into the future.
