The Portland Timbers held practice today at the team's Beaverton training facility. The Timbers started out with their usual warm ups before practice was closed early on.

Injuries and Absences

Futty Danso was no longer in practice today, having left to join the Gambian national team for their friendlies on the 8th and 15th, according to Caleb Porter.

Kalif Alhassan was the other new addition to the list of missing Timbers. Porter confirmed that Kalif is taking care of some family business and is expected back tomorrow evening.

The Timbers internationals who received call ups last week remain away on national duty. Rodney Wallace's Costa Rica side will take on Honduras this Friday while Donovan Ricketts and Ryan Johnson will take on Mexico this even with the Jamaican national team.

Trialists and Guest Players

Dustin Corea continued his time as a guest player with the Timbers as he trains during the Danish offseason.

Portland Timbers U-23s player Jose Ribas practiced with the team today. Ribas, a twenty year old midfielder from Ecuador, plays for Creighton University alongside his U-23s teammate, and current US U-20s player, Eric Miller.

The Timbers had a third keeper in training today alongside Jake Gleeson and Milos Kocic, but his identity is unknown.
