The Portland Thorns return home to take on the Boston Breakers for the first time of the season.

The Portland Thorns are returning home after an embarrassingly bad 2-nil loss to FC Kansas City. Luckily for the Thorns, Sky blue FC also lost their game last weekend giving the Thorns one more chance to retake the top spot in the league. That said, the Thorns' loss to Kansas City also brought FCKC within spitting distance of leveling the Thorns' in the standings. Needless to say, a win against the Breakers at home is a must if the Thorns want to keep their champion dreams alive.
